Indian Country

Larry –

Ever since the election, I’ve been studying the suffrage movement again.

These extraordinary women worked for years to earn the right to vote. They marched, protested, wrote letters, organized – and their actions led to the adoption of the 19th Amendment, 97 years ago this weekend.

We’ve come a long way since then. But we still have a lot of work ahead of us to secure real equality for all women and all members of our community.

What we do these next four years will shape the future of our country. Since President Trump’s election, I’ve been inspired by seeing thousands of women step up to run for office, from city council to the Senate. Women are leading the resistance, and we need to do everything we can to help them get off the sidelines and into office.

In honor of the anniversary of the 19th Amendment, Off The Sidelines has set a big goal of raising $10,000 before midnight to support women running for office. Will you give $5 or more now?

Click here to give $5 or more to help women run winning campaigns and move our country toward real equality.

Thank you,

Kirsten
